HMMSA Poetry Reading with Vivian Kearney

Join the Holocaust Memorial Museum in welcoming Vivian Kearney in the Beldon Library for a poetry reading. Vivian will read poems from her book The Unfathomable: Holocaust and After.  

Kearney was born in Poland in 1942, and was placed in an orphanage during the war. She was reclaimed by her mother Freda afterwards. Her family of survivors lived subsequetly in Canada. Her poetry collection is a memorial and a commentary on the Holocaust. It also descirbes her mother's last days before her death. Kearney is a retired teacher of French, Latin, English, and Spanish.

There will be copies of her book available after the signing.
