A day of community service for 6th - 12th graders from Monmouth and Greater Middlesex counties

Earn community service hours! Choose from a variety of service projects:

  • Make videos for lone IDF soldiers
  • Call people to help the Jewish Federation raise money
  • Hear Holocaust survivors' stories and decorate family trees to be donated
  • Decorate Mezuzahs and candle sticks for Houston families who lost their homes
  • Help at a food pantry
    and more!  



J-Serve is the International Day of Jewish Youth Service when teens across the globe come together to make a difference in their community. J-Serve in the heart of NJ is an invigorating, inspiring teen-planned day of Jewish community service, attended each year by 200 Jewish teens in 6th-12th grade from around Monmouth and Greater Middlesex counties. This year, teens will meet at the Fire Academy in Sayreville. The program includes volunteering opportunities expo, inspiring teens as keynote speakers, fun demonstrations by the Fire Academy, a variety of service projects to choose from, and light lunch

Space is limited. Project placement is on a first-come, first-served basis.
